I note your concerns and whilst I note your specific reference to the issue of protests, I wanted to share this longer response that I have sent to constituents about the Bill in totality.
Thank you for your email about the events at Clapham Common on 13 March 2021. I am greatly troubled after watching footage of the events, and I am sure you will not be surprised that you are not the only person who contacted me about this issue.
I am advised that the emergency authorisations for pesticides, which are used by countries across Europe, will only be granted in exceptional circumstances when diseases or pests are unable to be controlled by any other reasonable means.
After media stories over the weekend about the administration of Covid-19 vaccinations in Leicestershire my colleague, Neil O'Brien MP, has been in touch with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and has posted this update:
As you would expect I have been contacted by lots of constituents about the move to local tiers of covid-19 restrictions and the Government's decision to place Hinckley and Bosworth in Tier 3.
Following the vote in the House of Commons on 21 October a number of constituents have contacted me about the issue of extending free school meals into the school holidays.
