On Wednesday, the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, delivered her second Budget.
Some of the policies announced include: National Insurance (NI) and Income Tax thresholds frozen for a further three years (to 2031), a temporary extension to the fuel duty freeze, basic and new state pension payments to go up by 4.8%, lifting of the two-child benefit cap, and a 3p per mile duty on electric vehicles (1.5p on hybrids).
