Dr Luke Evans spends the day visiting local businesses

Dr Luke Evans, a parliamentary candidate in the upcoming election, has toured businesses in the constituency to find out more about how he can support local businesses if elected as Bosworth and Hinckley’s new MP.

Dr Luke visited Bagworth to discuss local issues such as: speeding down Station Road and proposed developments in the area, but also to tell people about the Governments plan to improve mobile phone coverage with a £1 billion pound project to cover 95% of the UK.

Dr Luke Evans spent the afternoon visiting 4 farms in the constituency: arable, dairy and a diversified cheese farm. Dr Luke talked with the farmers about the issues they face. There were concerns raised about rural crime, fly tipping and the threat of Bovine TB.

Funding for Bosworth and Hinckley schools to soar

New analysis of the Government’s £2.6 billion allocated to schools has shown that schools in Bosworth and Hinckley are set to receive, on average, a £204 per pupil increase next year.
