Thank you to the representatives of Oakthorpe Donisthorpe & Acresford Parish Council who met with me on Thursday to discuss issues of speeding around Acresford, particularly the A444 and Measham Road.
I will be raising this with the County Council - the Local Authority responsible for highways such as the A444 - to ask if they would consider reviewing the speed limit by the crossroads and whether road safety measures can be put in place.
