Dr Luke Evans, Member of Parliament for Bosworth, this week took time out of his busy diary to visit a brand-new nursery and pre-school founded by a long-established local childminder taking the leap into running her first permanent nursery provision.
Dr Luke visited Woodlands Nursery and Pre-School, established by Beverley Hutt, on High Street in Earl Shilton prior to the business formally opening to children on Monday 2 March.
Dr Luke said “Woodlands is a lovely setting for babies and pre-school children, it’s clear that so much love and hard work have gone into setting the business up.
“It is so important for parents to feel reassured in their choice of childcare, and I am sure that Beverley and her team will try to provide the best environment for the children in their care.”
Beverley Hutt said “I’ve run pre schools for many years but Woodlands nursery is my first permanent setting.
“I’ve always had a burning ambition to have my own nursery and opening Woodlands is one of the proudest moments of my life.
“My desire is to provide the best childcare for the children that we look after, whist bringing decent jobs, with good training, to our local economy.”
