Dr Luke Evans, MP for Bosworth, warmly welcomes the joint venture agreed between local business HORIBA MIRA Ltd and Evans Randall Investors, to become the exclusive developer for MIRA Technology Park as they expand.
HORIBA MIRA, located next to the A5 in Nuneaton, is a global provider of automotive engineering, research and test services, with 75 years of experience in developing some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. With the global mobility sector undergoing a radical transformation, this major new investment partner will solidify MIRA's status as Europe's leading automotive R&D cluster, ensuring that the Midlands is at the heart of the global automotive industry.
The investment will add up to £500 million of Gross Development Value, encompassing Research and Development, office and industrial facilities, maintaining MIRA at the forefront of the automotive industry’s transition to a sustainable future.
Dr Luke said, “This news provides another fantastic opportunity for our local area to grow, create new high skilled jobs and aligns us with the Government’s agenda for a Global Britain, while also levelling up the local area. Since becoming an MP, I have been working closely with MIRA, I look forward to seeing the plans come to fruition and the direct benefits this will have for local people.”
