Earlier this week, in my role as Shadow Health Minister, I responded to the 'Eating Disorders: Prevention of Deaths' debate in Westminster Hall.
Back in April, we were told by the Minister that the 10 Year Health Plan would "overhaul the NHS and ensure that those with mental health needs, including those living with eating disorders, are given the support that they need.”
Yet there are no specific commitments on eating disorders in the Plan. I asked about this, and updated guidance for Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs), in Tuesday's debate.
