Today I was granted an Urgent Question on the Government's failure to meet multiple statutory deadlines for issuing NHS pension statements.
These delays, and the resulting confusion, mean that some doctors are actively choosing not to carry out further vital work in the NHS for fear of being caught up with huge tax liabilities.
I and the British Medical Association have been raising these concerns for months, today I asked why has it taken the Government so long to act?
