It's been over 12 years since MPs last debated the role of the Royal British Legion in Parliament, so today I led a debate on the role of the RBL and all that they do in our communities.
It was my pleasure to invite the chair of Hinckley Branch The Royal British Legion, Lloyd Bagshaw, down to Parliament today and recognise him and the RBL's dedicated team of volunteers for all that they do for us here in Hinckley.
Veterans and our country are fortunate to have an organisation like the Royal British Legion!
