Yesterday, in my role as Shadow Health Minister, I responded to a Westminster Hall debate on the First Anniversary of the Hughes report on the injustices suffered by victims of sodium valproate and pelvic mesh.
The debate was an important opportunity for the women and families affected by sodium valproate or pelvic mesh to get clarity from the Government on what progress is being made on the recommendations of the report and the way forward more broadly.
