A policy proposal from the Green Party, which is led by Zack Polanski, would see speed limits on motorways reduced to 55mph.
The Green Party proposal also includes “incrementally” increasing taxes on motoring, reducing the number of parking spaces and making drivers retake their tests every five years.
Furthermore, the speed limit in urban areas and villages would be reduced to 20mph.
