  • Speeches in Parliament

Last night I spoke in the debate setting out why I would refer the Prime Minister to the Privileges Committee.

The vote was:

In favour of referral: 223

Against referral: 335

Therefore, the Prime Minister was not referred for investigation.

While I spoke in the debate, I didn’t record a vote.

10 minutes before the end of the debate I was called to a medical emergency in Parliament. I accompanied the person to A&E for treatment and made sure they were safe. As a result, I missed the vote, so you won't see a vote recorded against my name.
