It has been both a pleasure and a privilege to work with Sharon and everyone at Twycross Zoo since I became Member of Parliament for Bosworth in 2019. Over the last two and a half years I have seen their commitment to the Zoo and national conservation work.
Throughout her tenure as Chief Executive for Twycross Zoo, Sharon has been a phenomenal advocate for zoology and protecting endangered species.
It is thanks to her dedication to ensuring the Zoo’s post-pandemic survival that we were able to work together and successfully secure vital funding for Twycross, which will benefit both our area and important animal conservation work across the UK.
I look forward to continuing to support and work with the Zoo as we move forward and am excited to see the culmination of the National Conservation and Science Centre.
Sharon has been an incredible advocate for the Zoo and it is because of her tremendous advocacy as Chief Executive that Twycross Zoo is on a steady foot for the future. I wish Sharon the very best for any and all future endeavours.
