Hinckley and Bosworth MP urges Government to continue Household Support Fund

I know many people across our community are concerned and experiencing anxiety about the removal of winter fuel payments, and now how changes to Personal Independence Payments might impact them.

One of the ways that people and families are able to access emergency help if they need it is through the Household Support Fund, which is on the 5th iteration since it was set up in 2021.

It's currently due to run out in 2026, at the same time the Government's welfare cuts come into effect.

In an Urgent Question on the impact of PIP reforms, I asked the Disability Minister whether the Government will commit to a future iteration of the Household Support Fund.
