MP Dr Luke Evans was invited to Twycross Zoo (Friday 19th June) to thank him for his continuous support throughout the Covid-19 lockdown and to show him the necessary adaptations made to the zoo to protect its visitors.
Dr Luke Evans, Member of Parliament for Bosworth, has pressed ministers in the House of Commons for action to protect Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) as the country emerges from the coronavirus pandemic.
If you are a regular reader of my Weekly Updates you will know that for the past three months I have been working closely with Twycross Zoo to help Dr Sharon Redrobe and her team look after the animals in their care through lockdown. At times it has looked very bleak indeed.
Over the course of last weekend and the early part of this week I have received a number of calls and emails about the prospect of a horse fair being held in and around Earl Shilton this coming weekend.
