A response to constituent emails about animal cruelty and welfare

During the last month, I received a number of enquiries from constituents about animal cruelty and animal welfare and how the forthcoming Environment Bill must have provisions to ensure that those who attempt to harm animals are arrested and prosecuted. I concur with many of these sentiments.

Claimant count down in the constituency by 24% since 2010

Official ONS figures show that in the East Midlands, there are now 2,360,414 people in work – meaning that, under the Conservatives, 260,677 more people have been able to access the security of a job.

Nationally, the unemployment rate is down to 3.9%.
