Bosworth's MP welcomes news of the Triple Lock remaining in place and Pensions Credit uplift

Very pleased to share that the Triple Lock has been confirmed as remaining in place, as you can see the Chancellor state here.

I have been raising this privately with the Chancellor and Pensions Secretary, so I’m delighted that the concerns I've raised from our community have been listened to.

I also welcome the Chancellor's commitment to people in receipt of Pension Credit, the UK's most under-claimed benefit. The 10.1% increase is worth up to £1,470 for a couple and £960 for a single pensioner.
