This week I was pleased to be invited to a farm near Dadlington and Twycross, to meet with a local farmer.
We discussed harvesting, the affordability of fertiliser and the effects that the prolonged dry weather is having on the conditions of crops.
Local farmers tell me that the best thing we can do to support them is to buy seasonal British and local produce
