In the House of Commons yesterday I was able to thank our hard working police officers and the recently re-elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Rupert Matthews, for their work across Leicestershire where we’ve seen overall crime cut by 4.4% and rural and wildlife crime down by a phenomenal 24%!
Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland has been selected to become part of new £64 million pilot to deliver joined-up work and health support following recent call by Bosworth MP, Dr Luke Evans, for approach which helps people with long-term health diagnoses back into the workplace.
