In a recent public meeting on the proposed Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange I called on the Planning Inspectorate to not recommend this application to the Secretary of State for Transport.

It was lovely to join Cllr Ross Hills and so many people across the community in good spirits (despite the chill!), singing carols and seeing the lights!
A beautiful morning to be in Orton on the Hill for the reopening of St Ediths Church.
Despite setbacks, the community came together and fundraised £130,000 to complete restorations to everything from a fallen roof and exterior stonework to heating and the windows.
As inflation has fallen by over half of what it was one year ago and the economy is growing better than expected, I'm pleased to see today's announcements of pay increases and tax cuts for workers and businesses across our community.
